Sennheiser technical partner of Revolution exhibition
The audio specialist Sennheiser provides the sound experience for “Revolution, Musica e Ribelli 1966 – 1970. Dai Beatles a Woodstock”, the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) exhibition that tooks place Milan from Saturday, 2nd December to Wednesday, 4th April 2018 at La Fabbrica del Vapore.
Working closely with the exhibition’s sound designer Carolyn Downing, the Sennheiser technical team set up two AMBEO 3D audio soundscapes: one placing visitors in an immersive environment to evoke the political issues and fight against censorship and the establishment of the late 1960s while the other recreates a live concert atmosphere with upmixed audio material from the period.
Through the lens of the world today, the exhibition explores the era of the late sixties through hundreds of exhibits from the V&A’s extensive collections alongside a selection of world class loans that range from design, music, film, fashion and consumer products to photography, posters and books.
Also music is an artwork: Sennheiser innovative AMBEO 3D audio technology immerses visitors in the music and spirit of that unforgettable era. Furthermore, the soundscape of the spectacular exhibition will be delivered through a Sennheiser guidePORT audio guide system.
